So glad that I was able to spend a couple of hours with Jeff and Jordia at the end of a business trip to Portland.
Aren't they cute? My first trip to Portland and I met Twitter friends from #wjchat In Real Life. Ran a great full-day seminar on investigative business reporting. Had dinner with an old friend and his family.
And I spent time with this cute couple. Jeff is my cousin's son. He and Jordia live in a nice house in the Woodstock area of Portland. Woodstock. They are going to have a baby in the fall. And I love the fact that I got to see them for a little while during this magical time for them.
Thanks, guys. And yes, you are very American Gothic.

Like American Gothic but much cheerier (the pitchfork is kind of a downer).
Congrats, J&J. I bet you had a wonderful visit with Robin. Enjoy your magical time!
What a cute couple. Very cool you were able to hang out with them. A perfect moment indeed.
