My mom's birthday is May 12, which is always near Mother's Day.
This year, we flew to Washington, D.C., to spend the weekend (birthday on Saturday, Mother's Day on Sunday) with family.
The photo in the foreground here was one of her presents ... and a great memory from about 12 years ago. Gracie turned that memory into action and I snapped it.
Such a Perfect Moment. Such a wonderfully, perfect weekend.
