Spring training: the return of baseball, friends and mighty ducks

"Spring has sprung. The grass has riz. I wonder where the birdies is... The bird is on the wing. But that's absoid. The wing is on the bird."

The boids are here. At least the ducks have arrived. On their way north, these two ducks have stopped by to lounge around our swimming pool in Tempe, Arizona. It's a lovely 58 degrees this morning, with a 100% chance of precipitation.

On days like this in Arizona, locals often say, "Ye-up, this is why we live in Arizona." So true.

And, I guess this beautiful weather is what attracts the ducks. And attracts Spring Training, which began this week.

And Spring Training brings our friends, Jen and Holly .. a couple of cute birds from Atlanta for their regular spring visit. They love the Cubs who warm up for the season in nearby Mesa.

Ducks and friends and baseball.

Spring has definitely sprung. And brought with it a flock of Perfect Moments.

Very cool sight to see, but I hope they don't leave a mess in your pool!

I'm talking about the ducks, of course. Not your friends.

Hah-hah. Oh yeah, the ducks pooped. And it looks like they eat grass... easy to wash away though.
We went out for the afternoon and when we returned, saw OUR ducks swimming in a giant puddle in the local kiddie park.
They didn't return last night. Fickle ducks.
